Okay so I'm year 2 fall right now, I've always had happy animals but lately I'm getting grumpy and 'looking thin' hens & bunny when I let them out every day that is not raining (I have a lot of grass on my farm) and I have the deluxe coop which has auto feeder and is always full of hay, so I'm confused why this is happening?
17 mar 2016 · Chickens always grumpy/looking thin. Decided to get them in the fall and it's now almost mid-winter. I've gotten some eggs from them during the fall, but they've only shown affection 3 times midway thru the winter season. I let them out in the fall and even bought a heater and silo for them for the winter.

I made a coop and bought chickens before making a silo, so about 4 or 5 days have passed with no food. I got the silo built and filled up with some hay, but it went from one of my chicks to all 4 of them looking thin. How do I fix it???
28 gru 2020 · If they're thin, it means they didn't eat the day before. The scribbles above their heads means they're annoyed that they didn't eat the day before. If they did not eat grass, they eat hay at the end of the day.
