My chickens and cows are thin and grumpy, even though it's spring and there's plenty of grass in their yard? I even (mostly) close the doors at night. Is this a new glitch in the beta?

Okay so I'm year 2 fall right now, I've always had happy animals but lately I'm getting grumpy and 'looking thin' hens & bunny when I let them out every day that is not raining (I have a lot of grass on my farm) and I have the deluxe coop which has auto feeder and is always full of hay, so I'm confused why this is happening?

Grass far away from the coop/barn is good to scythe for hay (leaving some to regrow until end of fall). Takes some skill and patience to keep the grass nearby from running out; sticking fence or lightning rods on top of grass starters helps, as do fences and gates to control where the animals graze each day.
