Just tried Starbow for the first time. I played three games. Two as terran, one as protoss. and I've been watching streamers as much as possible since I heard about this mod. I don't know what to say. SC2 is ruined for me now. I used to love sc2, but now I can't go back. The units are better, the strategies are better.
The ones marked "Starbow Official" are most likely the ones you're looking for — most of them are ports from Brood War — but I think they've gotten Archon Mode and some 2v2 maps going as well. Fighting Spirit is still standard, and there's BGH/Fastest because...well, because Brood War.
Starbow is by far the most successful alternative to the official Starcraft II game and practically the only one that was looked at as viable for serious competition. I would highly recommend giving it a try!
