Spyder now offers standalone installers for Windows and macOS, making it easier to get up and running with the application without having to download Anaconda or manually install it in your existing environment.

Simple installation. The easiest way to start using Spyder is by downloading our own installers for Windows, macOS and Linux: Windows (Windows 10+): Windows-x86_64.exe. macOS (11.0+): macOS-x86_64.pkg. Linux (CentOS 7+): Linux-x86_64.sh.
Go to Install specific version and select the version of Spyder you want to use. We strongly recommend the latest available, to benefit from new features, bug fixes, performance improvements and usability enhancements.
The standalone installers for Spyder 5.4.0+ include update functionality built right into Spyder, which after checking for updates will display a prompt to automatically download and install the current version.
