11 sty 2011 · A fully loaded G19 weighs a little over 30 oz, a fully loaded xdm compact weights a little over 32.5 oz, for that 2.5 oz the G19 gives you three more rounds, the xdm gives you a better made gun, with a barrel that can shoot lead bullets and a grip safety that makes Glock Leg virtually impossible.

21 lut 2023 · I don't have a 17 or a 19, but I've got a 23 (same gun as 19 but in 40). I prefer the XDM because of the grip safety, grip angle, and the sights. The grip safety is an unobtrusive extra safety step that I prefer. I've never liked the grip angle of a Glock.
12 cze 2023 · You "hold" the gun and aim down sights vs the Glock where you aim down sites but with a more aggressive grip angle a Glock is also "pointed" at the target. G19 felt a lot more refined and updated in this regard.
I EDC a XDm 9mm compact and love it. I have shot a Glock 19 and it's also a great pistol but I like the feel of the XDM more. You really do need to try them both on the range before deciding if possible. Whatever you do, get some Pearce Grip extensions. I hated the hanging pinky finger and these fix that really well.
