The Black Market is a secret level accessible from The Jungle which contains seven Shops, all packed with Shopkeepers. It is the only place in the game where one can obtain the Ankh, a powerful item which must be obtained to reach The City of Gold and eventually Hell.
Ordinary shops sell four items randomly selected from the shop's product line, whereas special shops offer certain services or unique items. Note that a shop will never sell the same item twice, besides ropes and bombs.
