The Polar Plunge is an annual event taking place throughout the state of Kansas to raise money for Special Olympics Kansas. Each year, brave individuals jump into the icy waters of Kansas pools or lakes to support Special Olympics athletes. These brave individuals prepare for the event by fundraising during the weeks leading up to your big plunge!
Special Olympics Kansas is pleased to offer the opportunity to partner with local non-profits, churches, and school groups through the Polar Plunge®! Register a team, fill out the forms, and raise money. We will share a portion of the funds that your team raises online with your group!
The Polar Plunge—sometimes held in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Torch Run — is a huge fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics and the athletes. In order to participate, individuals or teams collect pledges from friends, family, and colleagues to lock in their spot!
