I don't download MIDIs as often as I used to (did it a lot when I had a 1gb hd) but I still check out the archive for sequences to put in my MUGEN folder. I have so many stages that need music!
Simply click the text description to download the MIDI file. World of Game MIDs Archive - This extensive archive has a wealth of information about each song file. There are 38 pages of video game MIDI files, which you can filter by platform or music type, or search using the query box.
The search itself isn’t very useful but there’s a dropdown menu where you can select which console the game is on, and then once you’re in that page, you do have to scroll to find your game and song. Or use ctrl+F to find it within the page. Some systems have tons of available midis. Still a pretty good site once you know how to navigate it.
there are usually no official ones, but often you can find them by typing the title + midi download, or title + synthesia. the website vgmusic/com has over 30k midi files available. Youtube, maybe musescore too, are good resources, but quality may vary greatly.
23 sie 2011 · I'm interested in creating remixes of music from video games such as Final Fantasy. I understand that MIDI files exist of this music and can be an excellent reference since they spell out every note, and I was curious if there was a reliable site or archive that offered them for download.
