9 cze 2009 · Here's a quick rundown on the specs of each sub. What do you think would be loudest while still maintaining decent sound quality? I would go with the Soundstream T5 Trarantula 15. The L7 does have more cone area then that of a normal 12" sub but because it is a square cone you will have more wear and tear on the surround.
28 cze 2007 · Soundstream amps tend to go hot faster than kicker amps. Also the output rms wise, is not really stable on the stream amps imo. Its a tough one but, i'd say kicker.
22 sie 2009 · Has anybody had experience with both the soundstream tatantula t5 15's and the kicker l7 15's. I have 2 t5 15's right now and this guy said has some l7's that he doesnt want and will sell them to me dirt cheap. So im trying to figure out what I should go with. Im looking for what hits the hardest.

I went from a Kicker Comp R 12” in a Kicker box maybe tuned to 40hz to a Sundown E-12” (similar spec) in a Down4Sound custom kerf port tuner to 32hz box to spec. Both wired to 4ohm (for efficiency) at 500W RMS and my Sundown moves everything in my car, roof flexes now too lol.
