22 sie 2009 · Has anybody had experience with both the soundstream tatantula t5 15's and the kicker l7 15's. I have 2 t5 15's right now and this guy said has some l7's that he doesnt want and will sell them to me dirt cheap. So im trying to figure out what I should go with. Im looking for what hits the hardest.
I'm trying to pick out a decent dual 12" system for my car that won't require a high output alternator. The kickers are rated for 1200w peak and 600w RMS but idk if the boss amp is a good idea, I've heard mixed opinions on boss products. Otherwise could y'all recommend some dual 12 packages?
I went from a Kicker Comp R 12” in a Kicker box maybe tuned to 40hz to a Sundown E-12” (similar spec) in a Down4Sound custom kerf port tuner to 32hz box to spec. Both wired to 4ohm (for efficiency) at 500W RMS and my Sundown moves everything in my car, roof flexes now too lol.
Hey guys I'm looking at buying a new sub and I'm trying to decide between a Rockford fosgate T2 (2000w Rms), kicker solo x (2000w rms), and JL Audio 12w7 (1000w rms). I'm wondering which sound hits the lows the best and bangs the hardest while also sounding good.
30 kwi 2014 · To port a kicker sub needs a lot more box volume. Heck what the CVX does sealed the SEX can do ported and sound better to boot. The old school solo baric S12D or S10D are the best if you can find them in good condition.
20 gru 2012 · As long as you are wired to 1 ohm then you are good with that amp. Box is the next suspect, whats the design? If the design and box is good as well then you are going to have to think about selling subs upgrading cone area/power.
