Tokyo (VNA) – The Tokyo High Court on September 24 issued a ruling that ordered Yasumasa Shibuya, who murdered nine-year-old Vietnamese girl Le Thi Nhat Linh in 2017, to pay a compensation of 70 million JPY (634,000 USD) to the victim’s family.
Shibuya has persistently denied involvement in the death of the Vietnamese girl Le Thi Nhat Linh, who went missing after leaving home for school in Matsudo City, an hour northeast of Tokyo. Her body was discovered two days later.
