Suzanne RD Tata (nee Brière, 1880–1923), also known as Sooni Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata, was the French wife of Indian businessman Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata. [1] She is known for being the first woman in India to drive a car, in 1905.

11 paź 2024 · At the heart of this illustrious lineage lies a remarkable woman, Sooni, born Suzanne Brière in 1880 in Paris, France. She is often celebrated not just as the mother of Ratan Naval Tata, a titan of industry, but also as a trailblazer whose pioneering spirit challenged societal norms.
We present in this issue the first of a three part article examining his argument of the transnational identity of the Tata family. Inspired by Sooni Tata, we also decided to feature some stunning images of this golden haired French beauty with Lady Meherbai Tata, another visionary Tata woman.
