SoFi is fine for student loan refinancing. They offered me a slightly lower rate than Earnest or PenFed. Unless something's changed, there's no minimum finance charge and I paid mine off early with no issues. IIRC SoFi was offering a $300 bonus for refi too.
I refinanced my 8 year private Sallie Mae loan and 10 year federal graduate loan with SoFi. 15 years at 6.625% fixed. I was not as fortunate as you, though, as I applied when I was still in school but had a signed job offer.
