20 maj 2020 · The fix for this is to use SSEEdit to set Skyrim.esm as a master file for SkyUI and the problem seems to have fixed itself. admittedly this has now caused $ to appear in front of almost every piece of menu text, but that's a separate issue that ill start working on now.

You see, I've been trying to put a few mods into my game, and while most of it has been working fine, I'm having a problem with SkyUI. I select it in the Load Order in-game just like I do with every other mod and I load up a save only to find out that the mod simply doesn't work.
12 lis 2021 · If You have updated to the new Skyrim Anniversary Edition update and also the SKSE64 version for this update and: SkyUI is automatically disabled every time the game is opened. SkyUI isn't working even after re-enabling it and you aren't getting a warning about loading a save without it.
31 maj 2024 · To discover which plugins need fixing, open the skse64.log which can be found in \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\ and review any lines with errors. If the error is reporting SKSE64 is the incorrect version, please follow the above installation steps carefully.
PC SSE - Help. This is a fully cleaned/newly installed Skyrim Special Edition from Steam. I'm using Mod Organizer 2, with only Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch and SkyUI enabled. SKSE64 installed correctly into Skyrim SE's directory, and SKSE64's Data files imported correctly into SSE's Data folder. 100% correct install.
SkyUI wasn't working, no error message. The mod was disabled automatically. The reason was that I downloaded SkyUI 5.1 which is for the original Skyrim, not the SE.
17 sty 2019 · You can fix it manually all you want, but every time you use the game's "Mods" controls it will re-disable SkyUI. There are two ways to permanently fix this: Get an actual competent mod manager (Vortex) that doesn't disable SkyUI and never touch the game's "Mods" controls again; AND/OR; Use SSEEdit to add Skyrim.esm as a Master to SkyUI_SE.esp.
