5 lip 2024 · Next I removed the 4 screws that attach the bezel that surrounds the mirror cap, then there are 5 clips that you need to release to get the bezel off of the mirror frame. I made some small sheet metal tabs (lets call them tang wedges) to keep the tangs separated as I released each one.
16 kwi 2020 · You will have to remove the mirror from the door first, then disassemble it, step by step following the service manual instructions carefully. If you don't have a manual I highly suggest you get one before you try this, as it is painstaking and detailed, and full of opportunities for breaking things.

29 kwi 2015 · Has anyone here removed the painted "skull cap" portion of their outside mirror on a 9th gen Si? I need to replace mine and they come pre-painted but I don't want to pry on the wrong spot and have a problem.
