26 lis 2009 · Hi, I would like some idea on how to change the oil in the gearbox on a SUV 800. I have some metal filling on the tip of the stick. Do I have to remove the top cover to clean the inside of the tranny? Does it have a drain-plug? I don't know, where should it be located?

24 wrz 2008 · My Polaris and Ski-Doo both have gears in the chaincase: mechanical reverse. Keep in mind that the chaincase oil also lubricates the jackshaft and drive shaft bearings on this side. Any type of oil is better than none. but you only change this oil yearly so I recommend using the proper type.
16 kwi 2018 · If it's a normal chaincase without any reverse gears, chaincase fluid is probably the specified lube. It may depend on the year of the sled. I always remove the chaincase cover and use that opportunity to examine the sprockets and chain and to clean out the nooks and crannies of the chaincase.
