The Email Tool allows Blackboard users to send emails from Blackboard to the recipient’s UMass Lowell email account. The email messages are not stored in Blackboard. Faculty can send announcements or course messages if they want to store messages in Blackboard.
Access to Blackboard can be found on the Blackboard Portal. All classes are provided in one instance of Blackboard. There are two teams that support the Learning Management System: Graduate, Online & Professional Studies (GPS) for fully online, summer, winter intersession and graduate courses (hybrid, virtual, and in-person).
