The NEA's Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) reading provides an overview of air quality that is averaged over a period of 24 hours. It takes into account the concentration of 6 pollutants - particulate matter (PM10), fine particulate matter (PM2.5), sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), and carbon monoxide (CO).
