After the most recent update, my cc/mods have not been reading in-game. I checked the box that says enable mods after updating, all my cc is in my mods folder with the resource.cfg file and there are no subfolders.

the last few times I've downloaded CC, my game won't launch. it goes to launch and then the origin window just pops up again. it won't tell me which file is causing it to not work, and unfortunately taking individual files out isn't working.
Step 1: Move the Mods folder to the desktop, Delete Game Cache Files and delete the localthumbcache.package file from The Sims 4 folder, in the Documents folder. - [\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4] Repair Game: Click Sims 4 > Manage > Repair. Start the 'problem game' to try replicating the issue again.
5 cze 2023 · Unlike the first folder, the library folder IS created in your Sims folders, specifically in your Mods folder. Do not move it from here. If you do, your content won't work and the CC Manager will fail too. If you have errors with particular archives, you will find them here.
19 mar 2021 · The Mods folder can be found in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods (or The Sims 3). Back up a safe copy, then remove ALL package files and any folders not beginning with the letters "TSR". Also leave your resource.cfg installed. Everything else should be removed. Try your game.
