When I open the Sims4 folder in Program Files/EA Games, I can see six folders. _Installer, Data, Delta, FP01, Game, Support. I've turned on my mods and script mods in the game, however the mods folder does not appear in any of the files.
I just got a new laptop with Windows 11. Installed and can run TS4 without issue but now I can't figure out where to place my Mods folder. I tried the route I used for Windows 10 but it's not working. C drive > Users > (user) > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. That's the usual.
To be clear, this is the original path to my Sims 4 Mods directory ("directory" is a synonym for "folder"): "C:\Users\testpc\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods". Step 1 - create the new location: copy your Mods directory (or whichever directory you wish) to your desired location.

2 maj 2015 · Just cut and paste the ZIP or RAR files into the Mods folder. The Mods folder can be found here: PC folder location: C:\Users\ (User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods. Mac folder location: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.
5 sie 2015 · Open Windows Explorer or Finder on Mac. Click your Documents folder, Electronic Arts, then The Sims 4. If you have trouble finding it, look for the Users folder on C:, click the User of the PC (in my case, Carl) then proceed to Documents (or My Documents) and go from there.
5 cze 2023 · Unlike the first folder, the library folder IS created in your Sims folders, specifically in your Mods folder. Do not move it from here. If you do, your content won't work and the CC Manager will fail too. If you have errors with particular archives, you will find them here.
