Getting Store content into your game is a two step process (unless you use the ingame Store which does both downloading and installing at the same time). The launcher has a tab for each step. Please see the following posts for details on each step.
There are some possible fixes or work-arounds you might want to try. I posted about them here . If you choose to buy Sims 3 from Steam or find the game elsewhere online, you can still download and install the store content with the Steam version.
Step 1: Open store.thesims3.com. Step 2: Go to My Page in the top bar, move down the drop down to My Account and select Redeem A Code. Step 3: Type in the Serial Code and register it to your account. Steam version doesn’t need origin and you can always download all of your store content on web. Store works just fine maybe it won’t in future but in that case ea version won’t neither. (Would recommend to save all of your files on usb or whatever if you can)
13 lut 2024 · If they're showing as installed but you still can't see the items in-game, here is a solution, posted from the EA site. It involves refreshing the entire Electronic Arts folder. (Make sure you back up Library, Saves, Video and Screenshots folder): https://answers.ea.
10 paź 2022 · In the end, for store content to be store content according to the game, the game basically verifies the package type through their API, connecting to the store site. If the api is in some way offline, the game seemingly picks up on basically information inside the package.
