20 kwi 2020 · That doesn't work—the game can't read the files. Move the first Mods folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and onto your desktop, open that Mods folder, and drag the Mods folder inside it into the Sims 3 folder. Be sure to delete your cache files again.

Mods not working. Been trying to download mods for my sims 3 today, I followed wikihow and itsmeTroi on yt. I downloaded the frameworks setup and the mods folder is in documents->electronic arts->the sims 3.
