The New MCX-SPEAR LT, has once again set the bar for modular weapons technology. The SIG Sauer MCX Spear LT is available in as a pistol or rifle in 5.56mm & 7.62×39. It is available as a pistol in 300 Blackout.
The 30-round external magazine attached to the pistols brings the total empty weight to only 6.1 pounds. An 11.5-inch barrel length combined with a 1:7 twist provides more accuracy than a standard-sized semi-automatic pistol but not at the cost of a lower rate of fire or heat buildup that can come with higher twist rates and longer barrels.
