Fiesta is a line of ceramic glazed dinnerware manufactured and marketed by the Fiesta Tableware Company of Newell, West Virginia [1][2] since its introduction in 1936, [1] with a hiatus from 1973 to 1985. Fiesta is noted for its Art Deco styling and its range of often bold, solid colors. [3]
History. A look back at how things got started... Our story begins in the 1840s in East Liverpool, Ohio, a river town seemingly made for dinnerware manufacturing. East Liverpool’s pottery industry found the region rich with deposits of local clay, and, after its manufacture, tableware was transported far and wide via the Ohio River.

23 kwi 2020 · Benner Glass Company trademarked the Siesta Ware line in 1963. Siesta Ware is known for its characteristic metal bands at top and bottom of glasses, often with wooden handles. This company was based out of Jacksonville, Florida, but also had manufacturing facilities in Los Angeles.
Using lead-free glazes and a vitrified china body, Fiesta® Dinnerware was reintroduced in new and updated colors. As this new version of their most famous product was being launched, Joe Wells, Jr. retired in 1986 and was replaced as executive vice president by his son, Joe Wells III.
