3 lut 2023 · Quit the sidebar from the notification tray, then you can just navigate to "C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar" and run the file "register_sidebar.bat" as admin. It should say some DLLs were registered. Now re-launch the sidebar from your startmenu and it should load up properly.
The minimize-windows-into-application icon will partially simulate the Windows taskbar, so you will get: where you can clearly see than the "doc" file is minimized into the app-icon and the untitled is opened.

13 mar 2024 · From what I understand, there is a shortcut CRTL + SHIFT + / to show the sidebar in Windows, but it does not work on macOS.
"Show Desktop" shortcut but it keeps the sidebar. hey there, i've wrote a REALLLLY simple VBS script that basically mimics the "Show Desktop" button on the toolbar BUT keeps the Windows Sidebar open, so you wont need to open it again after going to your desktop.

16 maj 2015 · One simple extremely useful feature on PCs that I can't find on a mac is the shortcut Windows+RightArrow to maximize the active window, but only take up exactly the right half of the screen (and vice versa with Windows+LeftArrow).
