You can choose to hide or show the sidebar, resize it, change the order in which sidebar items appear, or show only certain sidebar items. On your Mac, click in the Dock to open a Finder window. Hide or show the sidebar: In the menu bar, choose View > Hide Sidebar, or View > Show Sidebar.
2 lis 2020 · Open a new finder window. From the menu bar, click on View. Click on Show Sidebar from the drop-down menu. This will bring back the sidebar menu as shown below. You can toggle back the Favorite list items if it is missing. That’s it. There is no need to go to the terminal or other commands.

18 sty 2018 · The only shortcut I couldn't get working is using Alt+Shift to switch between input languages, but it's probably doable using more advanced scripting. I'm instead using Macs built-in language toggling using the Caps lock key.
14 gru 2022 · If I open an existing folder I have a sidebar and I can turn it on and off with the "show sidebar" command. I have tried deleting com.apple.sidebarlists.plist and com.apple.finder.plist and restarting but there is no change.

24 lip 2011 · In Vista. Click on the Orb; Type Windows Sidebar Properties in Search; Press Enter; Tick Sidebar is always on top of other Windows. Click OK; Just tested it and it actually fits the windows next to the Sidebar when Maximized. Alternatively double click the icon in the TaskTray to quickly display it.
