21 paź 2010 · If you want a good diagram and pics of oil line routing, check out the shovelhead forum (shovelhead.net ?). There's good diagrams and pictures there that I printed out when I was replacing my oil lines.
Look on the diagrams I linked if you have any question. EVERY SINGLE oil fitting is shown on that engine diagram. There are no others. When you are done, you should only have three oil lines and one crankcase breather line on the bike you describe.
29 paź 2010 · Assuming you have the stock oil tank, you have 3 fittings on the tank. The fitting on the bottom is the FEED line. On the top of the tank there are 2 fittings, the one goes into the filler neck and is the RETURN.
Oil Coolers. Ultima recommends oil coolers in applications where heavy loads are pulled or ambient temperatures exceed 90˚F or oil temps exceed 240˚F. When choosing an oil cooler, it is best to choose one that is finned & forward mounted on the frame.
