9 sty 2003 · Yesterday I bought a New, (with cosmetic blemish) TZ-1 Shoei for a whopping $83. I have had a Shoei GR-V, and RF800 in the past. I know this is their lower end model, but for the price its hard to beat, especially considering that I have to buy all new gear.
29 sty 2004 · The TZ-1 is shoei's entry level helmet. I believe it is a repacked RF700 (newer, eye-catching graphics). It doesn't have much ventilation at all--no exhaust vents. The RF1k is a MUCH better helmet: lighter, lower CoG, better aerodynamics, great venting.
13 lip 2006 · The TZ-R is just about exactly mid-way between the lightest and heaviest helmets we’ve reviewed. Our size XL weighs in at 1606 grams (3 lbs., 8-5/8 oz.), a few grams less than the Shoei RF-1000 (review). The weight is balanced well, which breaks yet another assumption: light weight is better.

20 lis 2016 · SHOEI X-14 has the best liner system as far as the adjustability (for the different head shape types) is concerned. You can adjust it (JDM X-14) from 80 to 96 . AND it’s very easy to do.

21 cze 2001 · I have the TZ-1. It's my first helmet (in a long time) too. It seems comfortable, well padded. The vents work well. The shield fogs up when stopped at a stop light, but all you have to do is lift the shield a little to clear it up.
