25 paź 2019 · Replacing the Acera rear derailleur with the RD-M591 is possible. Despite being marketed as a "9-speed" rear derailleur (the 9 referring to the number gears/sprockets/cogs--all mean the same thing--that make up your rear cassette), the M591 will work.

I'm reasonably happy with the existing set-up, but would like something with crisper, more precise changes. I currently have the following: Derailleur: Shimano Acera SGS T3000 (9 speed) Shifters: Shimano Alivio M4000.
I recently bought a Cannondale Quick 3 with Shimano Altus/Acera derailleurs and and am considering switching them out to the Shimano Sora components. I recognize this isn't a huge step up like the 105 would be but the Sora fits my budget.

16 paź 2016 · Shimano Acera upgrade. I acquired a Gary Fisher hybrid and I want to upgrade the rear derailleur (7 speed) which is a Shimano Acera RD 340. The question is what is a decent upgrade from the Acera? it looks like it kind of fell apart, so I don't want to replace it with the same thing.
5 maj 2013 · Its still got the Acera crank, front derailleur and shifter on it though. Im looking at getting a better rear mech setup, preferably more durable but not too expensive (budget of about £80) but I'm not 100% sure on what to get...
