5 wrz 2010 · Steve Hogg says the evolution doesn't fit consistent with the SMP fitment charts, and is 100mm really that narrow, or not? (my waist says a medium SMP is the go accourding to their chart). Expensive things to test, so wondering if anyone has similar dimensions, or similarly gets along with SLRs, and which SMP they found works for them.
Years ago, I bought a first generation Selle SMP “Strike Pro,” which I have used on 4 different bikes over the past 5-6 years. Every other saddle I had tried before the SMP caused numbness and discomfort, and the SMP alleviated those issues.

6 sty 2007 · I sat an SMP Evolution on the rails and let the nose hang over the edge of my bench. The rear most part of the saddle is 3 1/16 inches and the foremost is 1 5/8 inches. Measuring along the "Evolution" embroidery I get: "V" 2 inches, "U" 1 13/16 inches and "O" 1 3/4 inches.

The Strike Evolution, Stratos, and Glider are actually pretty similar, but different enough to see & feel on the bike, the Pro model is wider still, and women tend to like it best. Then there are the more recreational Plus models for both men and women – these babies are really comfortable!
