The seed bag is an item used in Extinction. It is used to hold the seeds gathered for the Plantkeeper during the evacuation of Iaia.
All item bags automatically put picked up items into the bag (herb bag, gem bag, spirit gem bag); this should be no different. The main times this bag would even be useful is during PVM, mainly slayer. If the seeds don’t automatically go into the bag, it’s nothing but a bank storage saver.

When collected, the seeds are automatically placed inside the bag. These seeds include: Flowering marsh plant: North East of the Plantkeeper and her sister. Roundleaf marsh plant: Immediately to the West of them. Marsh-fire plant: By the water West, and slightly South, of Seren.

In my opinion there should be a left-click "plant" option on plots and if you have a seed bag it should open an interface for you to select what seed to plant.
