20 cze 2021 · I rode with a custom Sargent low seat on my RT until I realized I did more sitting than stopping. I sent it back to Sargent to convert it to a standard height. I did 109K on that seat and some 900+ miles a day. I now use a Sargent on my 13GT with the same specs (standard height, black symphony vinyl, no welts).
28 cze 2008 · Sargent replaced it at no charge, however the new seat was no more durable than the first and it was wearing out when I sold the bike 20K miles later. On the other hand, the Corbin I purchased for 1200 has remained comfortable and durable for the first 20K miles.
5 sie 2012 · There's no need to send a seat for an RT to Sargent. You can buy a new one off the rack, on a custom Sargent pan. Fit and finish are superb. It is actually superior to the OEM seat pan as it has built-in storage for documents and tools. I have a Sargent on my RT and have had a couple of Corbins in the past.
6 sie 2018 · I had the low seat on my RT for about 5 years but I sent it back to Sargent to have it converted back to a regular height seat (you spend more time sitting than waiting at stop lights) and it felt a lot better.

31 sty 2019 · Sargent Saddle World Sport Performance Front and Rear Seat for the BMW R1200RT (2014+), CarbonFX/Black welt, OEM-ready integrated heat, Regular Height front with rear. WS-644-19-IHFR. I had purchased this while I sent my OEM seats to RDL and put about 1000 miles on them.
13 lut 2018 · On my '14 R1200RT, the Sargent Low heated rider seat does not fit as snug as the OEM regular seat - there is some side to side and rocking action. Not horrible, nor have I noticed it when riding but you can definitely move it without much effort when I am off the bike.
