The Main Lodge is open daily at 8am for beverages, including beer and wine, snacks, bait & tackle, boat rentals and cabin reservations. Alongside the main lodge, which also hosts a fine dining restaurant, are our nine handcrafted housekeeping cabins nestled among the pine trees.
Sardine Lake Campground is located in the North Yuba River area, near the beautiful Sardine Lakes. Visitors enjoy a wide variety of recreational activities in the area, including hiking, hunting, fishing, canoeing and gold panning.

In operation since 1941, the seasonal resort offers nine cabins for rent, lakeside drinks and dining, and a small boat fleet provides access to the Lake’s renowned trout fishing. Cabins range in size from studios to two bedrooms. All come equipped with kitchens, and some contain private baths.
Sardine Campground is located in a lodgepole pine forest with Sardine Lake nearby for fishing and swimming. This area offers an abundance of beautiful high mountain lakes surrounded by scenic rugged granitic ridges and glacially serrated rock outcroppings.
28 sty 2024 · Sardine Lake Campground is located in the Yuba River Ranger District of the Tahoe National Forest (1 hr 23 min west of Reno, NV) with an elevation of 5,735 feet. There are a total of 26 campsites. The campground is normally open from mid May to mid May.
