File a police report online for certain incidents that meet the conditions, such as theft, fraud, or vandalism. You will need to provide your contact information, incident details, and a valid email address to receive a temporary report number and a copy of the report.
This division handles approximately 80,000 police reports per year that occur within Sarasota city limits. The records unit also handles the processing of citations, subpoenas, and requests from the State Attorney’s Office. Reports may be requested either by mail, email or in person.
To obtain reports for these arrests, please contact the records section of the arresting agency. The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Records Section is open Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (except holidays). You can reach the Records Section by calling 941.861.4025.
