1 sie 2008 · SAP strongly recommends that you do not select price control V for semi-finished products and finished products, because doing so will very easily cause the calculation of unrealistic valuation prices. SAP recommends: Price control V for raw materials and trading goods; price control S for semi-finished products and products.
I know that for Finished and Semi Finished we use 'S' - Standard price and 'V' for Raw materials. When new cost updated to the existing finished materials at that time price difference account will come into picture, if any price change occurs.
17 lut 2014 · In sales order BOM, we have materials which are marked with price control 'V'. However in sales order costing, the price is getting picked from the standard price. This behaviour is probably due to transfer control in the costing variant which reads the current material cost estimate before picking the price as per price control.
