First time in about a decade that I've encountered a problem with Nook: I ordered about 100 bucks' worth of Nook Books a day ago and my order still says "processing." Those Nook Books should have been immediately available on my devices and browser reader.
I recently got a Nook Glowlight Plus (upgrade from the Glowlight 3 but used to own a Kindle Paperwhite) and I really like the larger screen size. Backlighting is even and the warm screen is really pleasant at night. Nook software seems to be slowly improving as well, though my kindle definitely still seemed snappier.
