I just bought a 1TB 970 EVO Plus M.2 NVMe SSD and am trying to migrate the old 500GB (OS) drive over to it. However, neither Samsung Migration nor Magician s/w recognize the new SSD. In Magician, new drive shows up as "Drive not supported".

5 maj 2022 · Hi, I got a new Samsung PM9A1 1TB 1024GB M.2 NVMe storage but when I install Samsung Magician it doesn't reconize it as valid ssd and shows N/A in health details. I'm using windows 11 last build. How can I fix it?
22 kwi 2019 · Click on Disk Management and see if the SSD is shown in the bottom right window pane. If it is, right click on where its labelled as Disk 1, Disk 2 etc and select "Initialise Disk" (this may come up automatically when you go into Disk Management).
13 paź 2023 · The first thing to check when your M.2 SSD is not getting detected is that whether the M.2 SSD is installed properly or not in the M.2 slot. The M.2 SSD should be inserted properly in the M.2 slot with the label side facing towards you and the M.2 screw should be properly tightened.
