21 sty 2011 · My favorite is a 3/8" Snap On 80 tooth, although I like the Gear Wrench 3/8" 120 XP's a lot too. The one I seem to use the most is a Craftsman US made 3/8" swivel head ratchet, which had a fairly long handle.
The best flex head ratchet is the one you have in your tool box. Tekton, Icon, Craftsman, Gearwrench and other brands would work just fine. The key is not to abuse the ratchet for them to last many years for you.
9 sty 2010 · Look for flex heads that aren't floppy -- even if they're adjustable -- and reversing mechanisms that are smooth and feel ratcheting action and backdrag. Most are good but there's a lemon in every bunch.
