21 lis 2014 · What I finally did was open Safari and grab the edges and stretch them out to full screen. I noticed when I did this the "minimize" button between the red and green open and close buttons at the top left turned yellow.
9 sty 2013 · To change this, put Safari in full-screen mode, move the cursor to the top, open Safari menu while holding Option key and close Safari from the menu. If you want to do it automatically with all programmes, open System Preferences > General, and deactivate "Close windows when quitting an application".

When I restarted my Mac, for some reason, Safari won't return to fullscreen mode despite attempts to click on the icon on the upper right hand corner or by going through the View menu manually. ( I've also tried the short cut keys as well, Control + Command + F , to no avail).
