15 cze 2020 · Pages can only convert a Word document into a .pages document by actually opening that Word document. You may have your browser set to automatically open in a compatible application (and if you don't have Word, it will likely then be Pages). In Safari Preferences : General, uncheck Open "safe" files after downloading.
26 wrz 2012 · I have selected the Different First Page option and I have formatted the number to begin at 2 on page 2, but it continues to class page 1 as page 2. I am at my wits end. Does anyone out there have a solution?
28 lut 2023 · Safari is refusing to begin file downloads from one or all sites. File download starts, but it fails immediately in a second or two. The download happens up to a point and then fails midway or just before completing.
31 gru 2014 · If the header on the third page shows "Section 9", it sounds as if you either have a lot of continuous page section breaks, or hidden text. You should be able to display most of these things using the show/hide button (Home tab, Paragraph group).
25 wrz 2009 · If your document starts on page i (or a), insert a Section Break (Next Page) at the top of your document, go into the header of the (now) second page (your first page) and turn off Link to Previous and do the same for the footer (probably not necessary, but better safe than sorry).
19 cze 2023 · If your page numbering is off in Word, removing the page numbers and starting over is the easiest solution. To remove page numbers in Word, click anywhere in the document, go to the Insert tab, then select Page Number > Remove Page Numbers.
3 paź 2024 · I have an intermittent display bug. Here's how it manifested today: I was working in Word and all the text in the document went invisible. I could click in parts of the document and the new cursor location would be reflected in the comments sidebar.
