Shercryl is good for chemical and abrasion resistance and will probably be your best bet as far as durability in the long run between the two options. DTM acrylic is an easy to use good performing metal paint. I’d suggest a bonding primer or metal primer before the DTM.

   My rule of thumb for priming is always if you’re painting a very light color over super dark, super dark color over very light, or if it’s bare wood/drywall. Good luck! B28W2600 or B51W450 primer tinted to your top coat color, then K36W451 for your topcoat. 3 coats total, 1 prime and 2 topcoat.
