There really is no other magical tutorial, the one and only way to get better at pking is to pk, and if you're already doing that then pk more.
Start out with 1 prayer and use a power ammy and msb to pk carrying only about 20 arrows. You'll only lose a Gmaul per death (38k). If this is too much, get 26 prayer for protect item prayer and protect your maul. Go for this build for a good "intro to pking" experience.
