Sophanem, the City of the Dead, is a city located far south in the Kharidian Desert, right on the edge of the map, as well as its second largest settlement. In order to gain access to it, players need to progress far enough into the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest.

- Sophanem Slayer Dungeon Teleport
The quest's start point. Collect all the supplies needed for the quest including your cat. Use the Nardah teleport if you have one or use a magic carpet ride to Pollnivneach, then south to Nardah (or fairy ring code DLQ) and head to the Wanderer (north of Sophanem) in the desert.
Warning: You cannot teleport out of this area! There are aggressive Level 84 Mummies scattered throughout the map, and Scarabs that can inflict poison (it is possible to run past the scarabs without taking damage or being poisoned by spam-clicking the minimap).
Icthlarin's Little Helper is a quest in which the player attempts to enter the city of Sophanem, all while unknowingly doing Amascut's bidding. It also features the first appearance of the Menaphite god of the dead, Icthlarin.
The Sophanem Slayer Dungeon teleport is a magic tablet that allows the player to teleport to outside the entrance to Sophanem Slayer Dungeon by breaking the tablet, destroying it in the process.
The Pharaoh's sceptre can teleport you directly inside the Pyramid Plunder minigame. The magic carpet system can be used to travel to Sophanem from southern Pollnivneach (if you have completed Icthlarin's Little Helper )
