Monkey Madness is a quest in the Gnome quest series and the sequel to The Grand Tree. It involves helping Narnode Shareen once again by tracking down the missing 10th squad. The majority of the quest is set on Ape Atoll, an island inhabited by civilised but unfriendly and high-level monkeys.
Needed: monkeyspeak amulet mould, enchanted bar, ball of wool, monkey corpse or monkey bones, 5 bananas. Recommended: antipoison, food, other types of monkey bones. Return to Marim (Ape Atoll) (protect from missiles and surge to gate). Escape prison and run east into the temple.
A map of Ape Atoll marking the quest NPCs and routes. Keep this map handy! Note: You will need to teleport away and return to the island several times. To get back to the Grand Tree, use a Ring of dueling to teleport to the Al Kharid PvP Arena, then take the Al Kharid Gnome Glider.
Refer to the map to the right for relevant locations during the quest. Be wary of all yellow dots, as they represent poisonous enemies (scorpions, snakes, and spiders), as well as aggressive monkey archers.

Navigate your way through the maze without being caught by the ninja monkeys. You will need to pick up 6 satchels, fill them with explosives, then use them in 6 different locations. Any explosives that have already been placed will remain even if caught.
