19 sty 2020 · MV only supports webm and Mp4 (has to be H.264 encoded from my understanding). GIF are not supported by default. Check your mp4 codec. As for your .webm video, double check the format as this should work. Also, check the files' name. Networking rules doesn't allow for spaces in filenames.

So I see you have the option to add movies to mz but I don't know how to add and play them. Can someone tell me what format to use I want to have animated cut scenes to my game, I have adobe animate how do I get animation to play in mz? Or am I not able to.
The only free RPG Maker was really VX Ace Lite. They have the older versions available legally now, but they are still paid software. It's probably worth noting that the preorder promotion for MZ includes a free copy of MV so if you have any friends who rpgmake and are planning on upgrading, they might actually have a key to spare.
From my knowledge, it's free and can be download off of moddb.com / widderune.wixsite.com for the English translated versions. I do not see Wolf RPG Maker off Steam (except for games made with the engine).
