21 gru 2023 · Sangiovese from Puglia (Sangiovese di Puglia) The red grape variety gets its name from Sangius Jovis — «Blood of Jupiter». It is widespread all over the world, so the cost of the wine is low, but each region imposes its own imprint.
Indigenous grapes are responsible for the most unique wines of Puglia. Grape varieties like Nero di Troia, Primitivo, Bombino Nero, and Negroamaro rule here. Sangiovese and Trebbiano are also among the main grapes under vine in the region.
6 mar 2015 · There are 8 official wine routes, or Strade del Vino, in Puglia. They do seem highly interconnected, especially as you head towards Brindisi and Taranto from Bari. This makes counting the wineries along each one a little tricky, but we believe there are a total of 80 recommended wine estates to visit. The Official Wine Routes.
