I've been trying to get roblox to launch in vr mode but can't seem to figure out how. Both when using oculus link as well as virtual desktop, the inside of my headset is simply black while on my computer's screen the game has launched in pc mode (meaning its controlled using mouse/keyboard.)
There are two ways to combat this. 1. Open SteamVR, the go to the menu and use the Desktop feature to open your browser and launch Roblox. Or 2. Download the Microsoft Roblox app and launch it through WMR.
Reinstall Roblox as ADMINISTRATOR. This involves downloading the file from Roblox, you can click on any game and press play in the experience tab to grab the file. Once your download is complete, don't run the installation yet. Right-click on the file and select the 'Run as administrator' option.
Make sure your Meta Quest device is up to date, running v57 or higher of Meta Quest software. Search for “Roblox” in the Quest Store and install it from there or download it directly here. Start Roblox on your Quest device.
