I've tried launching steamvr before clicking play on roblox however that just sends my headset to the steamvr home whilst still loading the roblox game in pc mode. The option to toggle vr inside of roblox is not present nor has it ever been present. Anyone know a fix?
Roblox should then run in SteamVR. This causes a weird graphical glitch on the Oculus CV1, where the image is distorted and not all the buttons on the controller is registered.
11 cze 2020 · This appears to have been a Roblox Player issue. Roblox released an updated version today which resolves this issue.
15 sty 2022 · Solved: so uhh I used Virtual Desktop to play roblox in vr it worked really good but now all of a sudden when I boot up steam vr and join - 937579
To all having problems with VR, try to load up the Roblox game in the roblox Beta app version. I know the beta sucks, but it's the only way I connect my VR (Quest 2) to Roblox, otherwise, the Web version says "Your headset has disconnected, retry to play the game".
7 mar 2021 · I have got Steam VR running on my PC + headset. Only issue is that Steam VR is running via Oculus Link. Meaning that when I join a Roblox game, Oculus link notices and closes the Steam VR view on the headset so it can try and run the Roblox Client instead (via Oculus Link, not Steam VR)
