16 lis 2005 · Great gear for cold weather elk hunts in the snow or 1 or two day outings in really wet cold weather but for prolonged periods of heavy rain or warmer weather other gear is better suited. I used mine in my guide boat for 2 yrs and gave it a pretty good test in lots of wet weather.

3 lis 2009 · It is my guess that a satisfied Rivers West owner has not had their Rivers Wet gear in true sideways rain conditions. Either that or they have enough other gear under the R West that the leaks seem more like body moisture.
11 lut 2015 · Anyone here ever use Rivers West clothing? They have some raingear on sale for a pretty good price. It's packable waterproof fleece. I've heard good things about their heavier cold weather gear before but nothing about the rain gear.
15 sty 2004 · They don't seal the seams on Rivers West gear. Last I heard Rivers West counts on the thread somehow sealing the water out. The jacket I use in Alaska lasts about 20 minutes in a heavy rain. My hunting jacket leaks in a heavy rain too. I hunt the Oregon coast and cascades.
