WOFF went from the base game to Ultimate Edition to Platinum Edition, but they're really just content patches with feature improvements. The new 2020 version will be the same, though with some welcome improvements, particularly in the AI department.
28 wrz 2009 · Not until Rise Of Flight has any combat flight sim been able to create the essence of flying so completely, and the essential, core experience captured so well. The glaring omissions of other combat simulations seem so elemntary now, and flying them feels so artificial and dull in comparison.
29 cze 2009 · Easily one of the best combat flight sims ever published when combined with the free add-on Pat Wilson's Campaign Generator (PWCG). Superb feeling of flight and the best WWI plane models available at the time of this writing.
The patch adds accurate synchronizer gears to all the aircraft (some have different types and thus, rate of fire than others) and even adds some neat new effects and visual options.
